Kids’ Phil: The Reverse Carousel
Grand Auditorium – Philharmonie Luxembourg
Mia thinks of herself as an adventurer – the problem is that nobody believes her. On a trip to Paris, her father puts her on an old-fashioned children’s carousel. How on earth is anything going to happen here? However, the ticket seller Madame Garnier immediately recognizes Mia’s rebellious character. She needs help chasing Monsieur Monet, who plans to sell the carousel to a luxury hotel. Using a secret key, she puts a spell on the carousel: suddenly, the music plays backwards, the animals jump off, and an extraordinary adventure begins…
Featuring timeless French masterworks by Bizet, Debussy, Satie, and more, this captivating performance brings symphonic storytelling to life for audiences aged 6 to 106.
