Max Gieres

Born in Luxembourg, Max Gieres holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano and is currently pursuing his Master’s studies at the university mozarteum Salzburg, in the class of Prof. Georg Steinschaden. He has held an assistantship in the Department of Musicology since 2022. In 2023, he received a regular fellowship from the university.

At the age of 8 he took his first piano lesson and has been enrolled in 2012 in the class of Béatrice Rauchs at the Music Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg. Since 2011 he also works with Marie-Paule Cornia at the Belgian piano school ‘Klaviatura‘.

Max regularly takes part in master classes and working with different international soloists and professors has allowed him to broaden his musical horizon.
