Mika Gieres

Born 2004 in Luxembourg, Mika Gieres studies flute at the university mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Britta Bauer.

Mika took his first flauto lesson in 2012, 2016 he has been enrolled in the class of Carlo Jans at the Music Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg. Since 2012, he has also been studying the piano, since 2014 in the class of Béatrice Rauchs.

He got diplomas in flauto, piccolo, piano, piano accompaniment, chamber music, musical theory, harmony, musical analyses, …

Mika regularly takes part in master classes and working with different musicians has allowed him to broaden his musical horizon. He plays in different orchestras and is winner of various music competitions.
